Handmade anatomically shaped insole in warming quilted wool with a soft intermediate layer and insulating aluminum. Provides optimal comfort and support with built-in arch support, integrated forefoot pad, and cushioning in the heel. Wool breathes, regulates heat, and absorbs moisture, keeping the shoe and foot fresh.
The top layer of 100% wool is self-regulating, providing warmth when it's cold and feeling airy when it's warmer. Wool absorbs moisture, but in small amounts, which is beneficial in combination with TEX materials. Wool also attracts very little odor, so the insole feels fresh with a little airing. The middle layer of the insole is made of soft latex for increased comfort, and the aluminum layer provides protection against cold from below. The thin, lightweight orthopedic bridge provides good support to the arch, improves posture, and prevents heel spurs. The integrated forefoot pad relieves and distributes muscle tension, while the heel cushion absorbs and protects against shocks.
